Nursing shortage is a global problem.
Therefore bondingb. thinks on a global level from the very beginning.
Germany is experiencing a massive shortage of nurses. In particular, small hospitals and nursing homes in rural regions are increasingly suffering from a lack of nursing staff, and in addition it is difficult for them to find qualified nurses.
This development is alarming given that the German population is getting older, which means that the demand for nursing staff will increase enormously in the coming decades.
Why is there a nursing shortage?
There are various reasons for the massive shortage of nurses in Germany: Due to extreme strains in the everyday work routine, more and more (young) nurses are giving up their profession. In addition, in the next ten to twelve years around 40 percent of today's nursing staff will retire, while at the same time not enough young people in Germany want to learn a nursing profession.
In order to solve the nursing crisis in Germany, it is essential to rethink the social, political and economic situation.
Nursing staff must be better paid,
care training must be adapted to international standards,
and nurses must be recognized as systemically relevant and valued accordingly.
Only in this way it is possible to make the German nursing system attractive for young people in Germany and qualified nursing staff from abroad.
What bondingb. does…
bondingb. pursues an integrative concept that includes and connects different segments.
A central segment is represented by German nursing homes, which are experiencing a massive shortage of nurses and which we aim to support by recruiting national and international nursing staff.
This applies equally to the segment of nursing staff in Germany, which also benefits from the integration of high-qualified nurses and trainees. Currently, nurses in Germany suffer from extreme workloads.
By establishing our integrative concept in German nursing homes, this problem can be minimized and resolved in the long term.
bondingb. will thus sustainably improve the German healthcare system.
How does bondingb. measure its success?
On a social and political level, we measure our success by the successful integration of national and international nurses and trainees into the German care system.
The establishment of our integrative concept in German nursing homes and in the communities serves as a central benchmark.
By establishing our concept across the country, we raise social and political awareness for the healthcare system in Germany. Likewise, we want to show sustainable ways of reorganizing this system.
We want to strengthen the image of healthcare and its associated professions.
We make it our mission to show that nurses are systemically relevant and encourage particularly young people to pursue this career path.
