bonding B is a recruitment agency specialized in the recruitment of qualified nursing staff. We recruit high-qualified nurses and trainees from Germany and abroad and integrate them into the German nursing system. Through language courses as well as integration and further training programs, we prepare the nursing staff optimally for their deployment in German care facilities.

In our work, we pursue an integrative concept in order to give the nursing staff a successful start in Germany and to ensure that they will stay in the long term. Currently, the German care system is not competitive and not very attractive in international comparison - this applies both to care training in Germany and to the care profession itself. In European comparison, salaries in the nursing professions are low and the social reputation of these professions is also comparatively poor.

This development is alarming given that the German population is getting older, which means that the demand for nursing staff will increase enormously in the coming decades. However, Germany is already experiencing a massive shortage of nurses. In particular, small hospitals and care facilities in rural regions are increasingly suffering from a lack of nursing staff, and in addition it is difficult for them to find qualified nurses.

Why is there a nursing shortage?

There are various reasons for the massive shortage of nurses in Germany: Due to often precarious working conditions and extreme strains in the everyday work routine, more and more young nurses are giving up their profession. In addition, in the next ten to twelve years around 40 percent of today's nursing staff will retire, while at the same time fewer and fewer young people in Germany want to learn a nursing profession.

In order to solve the nursing crisis in Germany, it is therefore essential to rethink the social, political and economic situation: Nursing staff must be better paid, care training must be adapted to international standards, and nurses must be recognized as systemically relevant and valued accordingly. Only in this way is it possible to make the German nursing system attractive again for young people in Germany and qualified nursing staff from abroad.

Here is how bonding B wants to take action…

The shortage of nurses is a worldwide problem. Therefore we think on a global level from the very beginning!

bonding B integrates high-qualified nurses and trainees from Germany and abroad into the German care system - and at the same time supports German and foreign communities through social projects.

How does bonding B measure its success?

On a social and political level, we measure our success by the successful integration of national and international nurses and trainees into the German care system. The establishment of our integrative concept in German care facilities and in the communities serves as a central benchmark.

By establishing our concept across the country, we are also raising social and political awareness for the currently parlous conditions in the German health care system. At the same time, we are showing that there are sustainable ways of reorganizing the care system.

In this way, we want to strengthen the image of healthcare and its associated professions. We want to show that nursing professions are systemically relevant as well as desirable and admirable. In this way, we want to make nursing professions in Germany attractive again - and we want to encourage in particular young people to pursue this career path.

From an economic point of view, the commissions that we receive from care facilities for successfully recruiting nursing staff are important for us. Furthermore, the investments and donations that we use to set up the social projects at our locations are decisive.

Our Concept

bonding B pursues an integrative concept that includes and connects different segments.

A central segment is represented by German healthcare facilities, which are experiencing a massive shortage of nurses and which we aim to support by recruiting domestic and foreign nursing staff.

This applies equally to the segment of nursing staff in Germany, which also benefits from the integration of new high-qualified nurses and trainees. Currently, nurses in Germany suffer from extreme workloads. By establishing our integrative concept in German healthcare facilities, this problem can be minimized and resolved in the long term. bonding B will thus sustainably improve and revolutionize the German healthcare system.

Another central segment are the countries from which the international nursing staff are being recruited. bonding B recruits exclusively in emerging and developing countries – with the aim of creating a positive and sustainable impact.

At present, industrialized countries such as the USA, Great Britain and also Germany recruit foreign nurses without adequately compensating their countries of origin. However, the nursing shortage is a global problem that cannot be solved by unilateral actions.

bonding B rethinks globalization: If you take something, you have to give something back. For this reason, a crucial aspect of our work is the establishment of social projects such as community spaces and training centers in our partner countries.
